Pueblo Islam
Asking a question here is private
People come to this site quietly. Some are curious, some are new to the faith, and some are not ready to tell anyone. This page explains what happens to anything you send, and it is short because very little happens.

The part that matters most
If you ask a question through this site, or ask us to send you a Quran, that is between you and the people who answer it. We do not tell your family, your employer, your community, or anyone else. We do not publish questions with names attached. We do not add you to a list because you asked something.
Interest in a religion is treated in law as sensitive information, and we treat it that way in practice too, not just on this page.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form, and only on the two forms that ask for anything.
- Ask About Islam: your name if you give one, your email address so we can reply, and your question.
- Request a Quran: your name and a postal address, because a physical book has to be posted to somewhere.
You may use a first name only, or a nickname, and we will still answer. The postal address is needed only for the Quran request, and it is used to address the parcel and nothing else.
Beyond that the web server keeps ordinary records as pages load: an IP address, a browser type, which page and when. Those exist so the site stays up.
What this site does not do
- No analytics. There is no Google Analytics here and no equivalent. Nobody is counting which article about Islam you read.
- No advertising and no pixels. Nothing here follows you to another website.
- No selling or sharing. Not your address, not your question, not ever.
- No mailing list by stealth. Asking a question does not subscribe you to anything.
Who else can see anything
- Namecheap
- Hosts the site and carries its mail. Can see what is stored here.
- Fluent Forms
- Runs the two forms. What you type stays on our own server, not a vendor cloud.
- CookieAdmin
- Shows the cookie notice and records which categories you chose.
- Ameen Systems
- Built and maintains the site over a cryptographically signed connection.
That is the whole list. No analytics provider, no advertising network, no data broker, no third party newsletter platform. Beyond those, we share only where the law requires it, or where someone’s safety genuinely demands it.
Artificial intelligence
- Your question is not sent to an AI service. A person reads it and a person answers it.
- Your details are never used as AI training material.
- This site was built with AI assisted tools, and some of the writing here, including parts of this page, was drafted with AI help and then read and approved by a person before publishing.
If that changes, this section changes before it does.
Cookies
The notice on your first visit asks which kinds you allow. In practice there is very little to allow: the site sets no advertising cookie and runs no analytics, so the categories beyond strictly necessary are currently empty. They exist so that if anything is ever added, the choice you already made governs it. Your answer is remembered for a year, and you can change it whenever you like.
How long we keep it
- Questions and replies
- 24 months, so we can follow up on a conversation, then deleted
- Quran request addresses
- Deleted once the book has been sent and any follow-up is done
- Server logs
- A short rolling window at the host
- Backups
- Rotated, so a deletion takes one backup cycle to become final
Ask us to delete something sooner and we will, without asking why.
What you can ask for
Write to privacy@puebloislam.com to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. No formal wording, no reason needed, no charge. We reply within thirty days and usually much sooner.
This site is written for adults. We do not direct it to children and do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If our practice changes, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it. Nothing new that can see your information goes live before it is written here.
